Megan Bormann is originally from Southbend, Indiana, where she trained
at Flint's Dance studio and was a member of her high school dance team.
At Arizona State Univeristy, where she recieved her BFA in dance
performance, Megan danced in numerous peices throughout her four years
and was a member of the Dance Arizona Repetory Theatre (DART). Through
DART, she got to work with professional choreographers from around the
Phoenix area performing the work set on the company. It was also
through DART that Megan discovered her love for teaching when the
comany volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club of Tempe and Scottsdale,
and at the Herrera School of the Arts. In 2006, she became an
instructor for the National Dance Alliance where she got to travel all
around the country teaching dance camps and really got to develop her
passion for teaching.
Megan is currently judging competitions and
coordinating events for NDA but is excited and ready to rejoin the
staff and the Plumb family.
